Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and shaped by the rich diversity of cultures, landscapes, and life experiences, Sarahat Salma Chowdhury embodies resilience, elegance, and timeless strength. Her early childhood was spent between Bangladesh and the historic city of Kirkuk, Iraq, where she was exposed to vibrant fabrics, intricate craftsmanship, and the beauty of women expressing themselves through traditional attire. Life, however, tested her early.
At the age of seven, Sarah lost her mother in a tragic incident — a loss that reshaped her world. Raised by her father alongside her two siblings, she grew up with a deep understanding of responsibility, compassion, and the quiet power of perseverance. Her father instilled in her a belief in education, dignity, and self-reliance, values that guided her throughout her life.

Sarah pursued higher education with determination, completing her MBA and Master’s in Applied Finance in Australia. Along the way, she embraced motherhood, raising four beautiful children whose growth, dreams, and well-being became her greatest motivation. Immigration to North America introduced another chapter of challenge and opportunity. Balancing her roles as a mother and a professional, she built a successful international career across Canada and the United States, working in finance, education, and community leadership.

Through every chapter — joy, hardship, migration, motherhood, spiritual journeys, and profound personal loss — Sarah carried within her a deep connection to heritage. Her spiritual path, including performing Hajj, strengthened her heart and restored her sense of purpose.
